Description
This is a book about cancer. My cancer, to be precise. But please don’t think it’s going to be all depressing and tear-jerking, that’s only part of the book, the rest of it is a right laugh. The point is that cancer can come for anyone at any time and I hope that this book might help you to be prepared for it a little better. Cancer came for me at a hotel in South Wales and nobody expected that.
My Big Toe is Killing Me follows the four-and-a-half-year cancer journey of a dad, husband, stepdad, colleague, friend, brother, son and blogger. The journey isn’t over, but this story is – for now. Taken from Roland J. Monger’s wildly overlooked blog, each chapter covers an undulation in the rollercoaster ride that is living with cancer when you’re just a normal bloke trying to do normal things without climbing a single mountain or running even half a marathon.
20% of profits from this book will be donated to St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth. Thank you.
